Grow. Harvest. Press
About the Artist
Meagan Jacoby, a self-proclaimed plant nerd, gardener, botanical artist, wife and mother, has always been enamored by nature. She has been creating botanical artwork and jewelry for over 10 years. First as gifts for family and friends and now through her small business, Wild Bloom Art Company, that she started in 2022. She presses blooms year-round, harvesting plants she grows on her small farm in Missouri, foraging in the woods on her property, or preserving bouquets from special occasions. She has a special interest in plants that are native to the Midwest, and she currently has over 30 different varieties growing on her farm. These plants are important for wildlife in this region and you'll find them interspersed in her art and jewelry.
About Botanical Art
The majority of the plants used in my work are grown and harvested from my farm in Missouri. They are dried in flower presses for 8 to 10 weeks. The plants will undergo their biggest color change during this time. As with most art, these pieces will do best away from direct sunlight and high humidity.
“I love the items that I’ve purchased from Wild Bloom Art Company. I wear the earrings frequently, and I get lots of compliments! My favorite purchase is a bracelet that I bought for a friend. It was custom made with her favorite flower.”
